However, there are some confusing details: At least its length is the same as on the T-5. On the lower stack, the low C and Eb key rods are spaced quite far apart from each other, and the C rod does come up further than on later horns - it's like that on a T-4, not a T-6 or T-500.The bell-to-body brace is the same as on the T-5 (and differs clearly from a T-6 or a T-4, let alone later horns) - this is quite telling, really.The horn shows some very close similarities to the photos usanase posted: But let's compare them to this specimen (a marked T-5 - not too common and thus, a treasure): Though reading and interpreting those serials on sourced/stencilled horns can be very frustrating, the pictures help a great deal.
